"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

Dear Beloved One, As you read this, I don't want you tofeel sorry for me, because,I believe everyone will die someday. I amMrs. Rebecca from the Netherlands; I'm a widow to late Richard A. Adamswho used to work with Shell Company in Nigeria. I am 61 yrs old. and I’ma new Christian convert, presently suffering from long time cancer ofthe lungs. From all indications, my condition is reallydeteriorating and it is quite obvious that i may not live for more than(6) six months according to the doctor's analysis. And I have hadproblems to talk or hear. My husband died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days, but before my husband's death, we were bothborn again Christians. Since his death i decided not to re-marry or geta child outside my matrimonial home which the bible is against.
Before my husband died, he had a sum of $3.5m (Three million, five hundred thousdand dollars) deposited in the custody of a Bank which iwill reveal to you once i have your conscent to help me.I have prayed to God to lead me to a God fearing person that will help me claim mylate husband's money and help me utilize it to help the charity homes, less privelleged in the society and widows in the society. I took this bold decision since I have no child of my own, and decided not to haveanything to do with my husband's relative, because they are unbelieversand have squandered my husband's properties in the past. I want you tohelp me distribute this funds, so that if i die, i will have no regret.
Once I have your conscent, I will instruct my family lawyer to filean application to the Bank for immediate transfer of the money to you,so that you can help me carry out the task. I not afriad of death, because i know we shall all die someday, but i want you to pray for meto live to declare the glory of the Lord. Though, my joy is that i lived a life as a worthy Christian. And i have realised that wealth acquisition without Christ is vanity Lastly, i pray that you use this money as instructed, rather to use it to satisfy your selfish desire.have come to find out . God bless you. Yours in Christ, Mrs. Rebecca Adams.
