"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Urgent Mail Pls Get To Me.......

Dear Friend.

Though this might come to you as surprise My name is Turabi ibn Musa Ali the eldest and the only surviving son of Musa Ali The Famous Oil and Gold Merchant From Darfur in Republic of Sudan .

My Father, mother and family were killed on 25th of April by DJanjaweed against Darfurain. This happened to my Father and Mother after they visited me in Accra Ghana West Africa where I was schooling on the conclusion of the endorsement on the deposit of two trunk metal boxes which contains 450 killos Gold dust made by his Diplomat Mr. Ahmed el umaru in a security company in Accra Ghana as my mother told me in private discussion with her before they left for Sudan, sadly enough that was my last meeting with my parents.

The security company does not know the contents of the boxes as it was deposited as our family treasure with some of my mother's jewelleries on the description.
I have to tell you all, starting from the day I got the news of my peoples death every thing changed and turned bad and tough for me. Am passing through a lot of hell, I’m stranded, my educational carrier has taken a nose dive.
But now that I have I finally meet my late fathers lawyer who make me know that the deposit my mother told me about is my inheritance that I’m the next of kin. I hope that soon I will be out of this suffering.

My late father’s lawyer who made sure that all documents covering the deposit were retrieved from my Late father’s Diplomat and handed them over to me.My late fathers lawyer told me during my discussion with him on how to go and lay claim over the gold dust and with the aid of a foreigner as my beneficial that I can’t lay claim of it from the security company.
So this is where I employ you to be my foreign beneficiary to help me lay claim of my inheritance, sell it and Invest wisely and help me continue my educational carrier again in the country where you are. I have decided to give you 35% of the total sum after selling the gold product as my own little way of appreciating the help you are to give to me. Leaving the greater appreciation for God Almighty to give to you.

The lawyer further assured me that in laying claim and transferring this gold dust to your country is 100% risk free and that with your corporation within 7 working days every thing will be ready for the shipment and my suffering will be over . The Lawyer further told me to keep every thing secret and to tell you to keep every thing secret to your self alone for some security reasons as you may know that the heart of human is full of evil, wicked and deceitful .
Greetings and thanking you for your utmost secrecy. Faithfully yours,
Turabi ibn Musa
