"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

We got your contact through the international chambers of commerce during a small enterprises meeting. We are a consulting, marketing, representative and general merchants based in Ghana and branch in Togo republic.

With full penalty of perjury, we make this proposal and offer to you as mandated below:

Au Gold dust 265kg, origin of Ghana, 22+carat, 95%pure selling at $ US 10,500 per kilo.

We also have in stock diamonds up to 3000 carats ranging between 1 – 10 carats. Due to sensitive nature of gold and diamond transactions within the West African sub- region, we deem it appropriate that buyer visit seller for inspection and feasibility studies and testing. After testing, once the buyer is okay with result, the consignment shall be locked and the keys handed over to buyer whiles the consignments will be handed over to a reputable shipping agent for onward shipment processing.

Buyer will have to assist seller with minimum of 10% of the total value of stock to enable seller procure shipment documents. These terms is outlined for the gold.

As per diamonds, buyer will assist with processing Kimberly process certificate (KPC). Price of stone is based on the quality and value of stone. (Hence, we assume it as pick test and pay).

In case you are not a Gold dealer, you can also help us to look for buyer in which you are entitled for 2% after the transaction.
