"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello dear

Hello dear,
how are you today? i hope u are doing fine. my names are Grace Smith, 24 yrs of age,
born and brought up in the UK with both parents and the only child of my lovely parents.
I saw your profile as a gentle person so i decided to contact you if you could be of help.
Its a sad story i lost both parents in a plane crash. Before the death of my both parents,
my father had Willed part of his Real Estate Business, Gas Stations and a total sum of £50,700,000.00
(Fifty Million, Seven Hundred Thousand Pounds Sterling) to me. Since their death things has become very
hard for me paying my bills, putting food on the table and taking care of my other needs which the
fashion designer work I do as a part time can’t help. I went to the Barclay's Bank plc London UK
where my late father deposited the funds and i was made understand that i can't have access to
the funds till am 30 yrs of age or get married before i can have access to the funds.

So, I’m contacting you to stand as my husband or my late father next of kin and claim this fund on my behalf.
please get back to me as to know how you will be remunerated as i will part you with 40% of the
total sum £50,700,000.00 (Fifty Million,Seven Hundred Thousand Pounds Sterling), while 10% will be
mapped out for any expenses that we're to use to receive the money from the bank.
You can email me on my yahoo id gracesmitho@yahoo.co.uk if you have interest.

Yours Truly,
Grace Smith
