"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

By brief introduction , I am Steve ADRIENS from ADRIENS family, a citizen of IVORY COAST and the senior Son of late Dr. and Mrs. ADRIENS. My late parents were killed by the military rebels in my home town BOUAKE the second economic capital of IVORY COAST during the recent political Crisis in my country which led to the assasination of the country's first military president Gen.Robert GUEI. My parents were wealthy Cocoa Merchants before they were brutally assasinated by the rebels. Before his death in a private specialist hospital, my father secretly confided to me of the total sum of US$19 millions dollars he deposited in one of the well known commercial banks here in Abidjan (IVORY COAST) which he wanted to transfer abroad for investment through a foreign partner's account as co-beneficiary to assist in his proposed oil business wanted to established in europe or america. My father also told me his intension to invest this money in allocation of oil business with companies in countries like Saudi Arabia, Libya, America or Europe. Dear, I am honourably seeking your assistance to stand as our foreign partner to and to act as guardian of the money to provide a bank account for the transfer of this fund into your bank on our behalf for investment in your country and for the mutual benefits of ourboth families. And the amount in the account is US$19 millions dollars. Note that i have choosen you to assist me invest the money in oil business in any of the countries where you felt is politically conducive for investment opportunities. I will also like you to makearrangement for me to further my Education in your country. I have agreed to offer you 20% of the total sum as your compensation if you can assist me in this most important and valued objective and you will serve as guardian to the company that you will establish for me until i'am capable of managing it myself. Please reply this mail immediately by indicating your acceptance to co-operate through the above email contact address.
Now i am lying helplessly in one of the local hotels here Yamoussoukro (IVORY COAST) . I need your urgent attention to this transaction to enable the bank transfer this money to your account abroad and to enable me come over there to your continue my education. NOTE: The rebels has taken over my town Bouake and are in posession of my parents properties and now i have nobody again to care about me, except my hope on you and on this money awaiting to be transferred into your account as my only inheritance for my futurebenefits. Please reply urgently. If you are thus and truly disposed to assist me in transferring this fund kindly write me through my e-mail address:
