"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hi

Dear Sir/madam

I am Zeinab George wife of Late Lt. Irvin George a former serving American soldier with the 3rd Infantry division in Iraq.

He worked closely in trust with his superior officers during the early hours of the invasion of Iraq and kept away a reasonable amount of funds in British Pounds from the discovery of Saddam Hussein"s treasure stocked in 31 containers.

He happened to be one of the officers that flew with Saddam's looted money to London, known as the secured location in military terms. With the trust accorded him then he successfully deposited part ot this fund in a secured location in London and returned to duty in Iraq. For more clarification about my confidential offer see: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2988455.stm

As the wife of a late officer, I would not be able to let you have more information for security reasons until your good intention to assist and advise me on this issue are made known to me.

And for my assurance you need to state your good intent to provide advise or aid me as a sincere person by providing your personal details then I would let u know the total amount in kept, my details including my husband's military photos, ID etc, and then I would let u have access to my contact in London,in preparation for banking of the said amount now in my possession after a confidential agreement between us.
I would also be in a better position to define your share after your good intension to assist me and your scope of assistance made known to me.

My ultimate reason of doing this is that life is boring for every living or dead soldier's wife here in Iraq and there is no end in sight for this war and for me, since the war is built on lies and now i am a young widow without a child so I want to start a new life with this money now acquired as i am not ready to give up.
Get back to me in time if you can assist as I need only one partner and keep this to yourself if you cannot assist.

Greetings and thanks

zeinab George.
