"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Faith of Donation From: Mrs. Marie Jones
Dearest in Christ,
Greetings in the most precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My beloved, I know that this letter will come to you as a surprise, but I crave your indulgent to read this. I am Mrs. Marie Jones, a widow from Federal Republic Benin Cotonuo to late Tanko M. Jones. I am 62 years old, I am now a new Christian convert, suffering from long time cancer of the breast, from all indication my conditions is really deteriorating and it is quite obvious that I won't live more than six months, according to my doctors, this is because the cancer stage has gotten to a very bad stage. My late husband killed during the U.S raid against terrorism in Afghanistan, and during the period of our marriage we could not produce any child. My late husband was very wealthy and after his death, I inherited all his business and wealth. The doctors has advised me that I may not live for more than six months, so I now decided to divide the part of this wealth, to contribute to the development of the churches in the world. After praying to our father in heaven, I opened my laptop and browsed to the chamber of commerce where I found you and selected you after visiting web site and I prayed over it. I am willing to donate the sum of $6.700.000.00 us dollars, to the less privileged. Please I want you to note that fund is lying in a bank. I am offering you 30% of the fund goes to you to for your assistant, 70% of this money will be used in all sincerity to fund philanthropic organization, orphanages. I am taking this decision because I don't have any child or devoted relations whose behavior has left much to be desired while I am ill and above all I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner, hence this bold decision.
Please note that as soon as I receive a response from you I will forward to you the contact details of my attorney who will fill in an application on your behalf at the court of law for the change of all legal documentation in your name as the new beneficiary of the fund. I honestly pray that this money when transferred will be used for the said purpose, because I have come to find out that wealth acquisition without Christ is vanity. May the grace of our Lord Jesus the love of God and the fellowship of God is with you and your family. NB: All correspondence must be by strictly by email due to the condition of my health, but If you want to speak with my Attorney, that is fine and okay by me. His chambers will be representing my interest with you. I await your urgent reply. Yours in Christ.Mrs. Marie Jones
