"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I pray that this mail meets you in good health.It may interest you to know that i am a girl of peace and do not want any problem.please if you know that you will betray my trust for contacting you please do not accept my proposal because this my only hope.

I am contacting you to assist me recieve my inheritance Fund worth of $5.5million us dollars which my Mother who was a Gold merchant left behind for me the only daughter in a safety deposit house here in Ghana before her untimely death as a result of some armed robbers attack who invaded our house on the night of 14th febuary this 2007.(may her gentle soul rest in perfect peace amen.)

Meanwhile, i have made an enquiry concerning the claim of the inheritance from the safety deposit and they have assigned me a lawyer who is going to assist me secure the necessary needed legal documents to speed up and back up the claim so that the safety deposit house will release and delivers the box containing the money to you without any problem since the original deposit slip bears my name as the Next of Kin.

Note: That the safety deposit house does know that the box contained RAW CASH. Because my late mother deposited and registered the box as family precious onaments/valuables for security reasons.

Now i want you to get back to me if you finds it in heart to assist me claim and recieve the box for me on your behalf so that i can come over to your country to continue my education and start up a new life.

Mind you that i wish to give 30% of the total money for your compensation and your kind assistance.And you will assist me to invest my own part of the money into a good business in your country and manage it for me until i finish my education.
