"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: A Call For Your Assistances.!!!

Hello Dear Friend,
I hope you are doing fine and in good health.I apologise for intruding into you privacy, most especially when you don't know me. This mail might come to you as a surprise and the temptation to ignore it as unserious could come into your mind. But please consider it as a divine wish and accept it with a deep sense of honor.
My name is  Collins Nyuma, son  to  late Lieutenant Colonel Tom Nyuma of the Sierra Leone  Army, was killed by the Sierra Leone 's rebel forces on the 24th of December, 1999 in my country Sierra Leone . My father was among the group of young officers in the Sierra Leonean army, who launched a military coup, which sent president Momoh into exile in Guinea when his government failed to deal with rebels. Well i don't know how much you know about the civilian war and the ensuing political crisis then in Sierra Leone.
My father when he was still alive, deposited one trunk box containing diamond stones which i think will worth millions of dollars now, with a private security and safe deposit company and declared the box as containing African Artwork for export to a foreign partner. His intention was to export these diamonds outside Sierra leone, sell them and use money for future investment of the family. Unfortunately he was killed at the war front. I also lost my families in the war then in Sierra leone, but i manage to escape, and i am living in disguise as a refugee in Morocco.
Recently,i made some confirmations with the security company after being able to locate where my late father kept the depository agreement and the certificate of deposit that was given to him by the security company when he deposited the consignment in their custody. I have confirmed from the security company that the consignment is with them, but when I demanded for the release of the consignment to me in my capacity of being the son of Lieutenant Colonel Tom Nyuma the depositor of the consignment, i was told that in the absence of my father, the only person that can demand for the box is my late father´s foreign partner on whose behalf the consignment was deposited.

AFter some investigations, i discover that my father did not give the name or gender of his foreign partner on whose behalf he was depositing the consignment, he made the declaration for security reasons as he did not want the security company to inspect the contents of the consignment, hence he declared the box as belonging to his foreign partner.
Based on this facts,I solicit for your assistance to retrieve and demand that the consignment be released to you as the foreigner on whose behalf the consignment was deposited. Please if you are interested in assisting me in this business transaction, send me an e-mail to my direct mailbox below this letter, otherwise ignore this letter..

I expect an early response from you.
 Warm Regards.
 Collins Nyuma.
