"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Sandra William, i was born on October 12th 1987 from Cote D' Ivoire, i decided to reach you today because i have no other option than to contact you as an elderly person that can advice me as regards to my mail and proposal, My late father was a cocoa merchant here populary know as Murphy, he died on July 18th 2006, before his death he disclosed to me about the money he deposited with a bank here which is worth of $4.3Million and i tried to with draw the money from his bank here but they refused telling me that the fund is in fixed deposit with them that i can only hava access to the money unless it is been transfered to a reliable account oversear that is why i am soliciting for your assistance in receiving the fund for investment so that i can continue my education,
