"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: May His infinite Mercy be with us forever

May His infinite Mercy be with us foreverChildren Of ZionSeason Greetings,

it grieves me to share my kind of unfortunate situation that life can bring to anybody; however I am moved by spiritual strength to leave some legacy and a vital footprint of my compassion for others to inherit a blessed gift from your heart. Please let this not sound strange to you owing largely to the atrocities people committed these days but this mail comes from a devastated, sorrowful and emotional gladdened soul that needs compassion from a kind and good spirited person to wipe away my tears, perhaps when I am gone beyond this sinful world of ours. I am Mr. Luis Hidalgo from Denmark Kingdom of Denmark, I am 62 years old Man, I am suffering from a ages flu pandemic cancer Of The Bone / Acute Diabetes along side which i have been diagnosed to have a third degree HIV virus and therefore suffering a terminal sickness of ACQUIRED IMMUNE DEFICIENCY SYNDROMME AIDS which also affected my brain and am struggling to survive with God's Grace from illness that has ravaged my body and destroyed my kidneys and has left me somewhat disabled and as well slightly incapacitated, according to my doctors, they have advised me that I may not live for the next two months, this is because the Illness stage has gotten to a very fragile stage. I was brought up from motherless babies home and was married to my late wife Julie Hidalgo for thirty years with a Child named Stella Damascus Hidalgo but she was called to glory 8 month after my Wife death.
I have entrusted the sum $5.7 Million the accrued savings and life insurance gratuity of my late wife with a Security Company in Nigeria four year ago in the year 2003. I have kept this to myself with the hope of surviving this illness but reverse is being the case and my doctors have told me that I have only a few months to live. It is my last wish to see that this money is invested to any organization of your choice and distributed each year among the charity organization, the poor and the motherless baby’s home where I came from and the foundation as my soul wish should be name Hidalgo Trust Fund Foundation for Less Privileged.I want you use this money to fund churches, orphanages and widows; I took this decision, before I rest in peace because my time will soon be up if God say yes. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Security Company. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping to hearing from you soon.
Season Greetings,Children Of ZionMr. Luis Hidalgo
