"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

has been contracted by the UK Finance Ministry to deliver your package

below for further instructions on how to mail the package to your
location.

Have it in mind that you the fund
beneficiary will be required to settle the courier charges which
includes mailing and insurance of your winning cheque, this is because
the total amount has been insured to it\'s real value and as such cannot
be deducted from.

This is in accordance with section 13(1)(n) of the
national gambling act as adopted in 1993 and amended on 3RD July 1996 by
the constitutional assembly. This is to protect winners and to avoid
misappropriation of funds.

It is imperative that you add Customer
Service: 580 NCA 85914 as the subject of any correspondence with FeDex
International Courier Service to enable them verify your payment file
for the release of your cheque.
