"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hi,

I am Ms. Carol Williams, a paediatric intensive care nurse at the paediatric cardiology unit of Bradford Royal Infirmary West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.I have some pressing information which I desire to share with you. Please pardon me for invading your privacy. I do hope you will grant me the necessary audience anyway.

In this hospital I attend to mostly cardiac patients in my capacity as a nurse. I have worked closely with Consultant Paediatric Cardiologists Dr. Robert Arnold and Dr. Eric Silove. These Doctors are special consultants to a prominent German actor, Sir Guenter Pfitzman ,who has suffered sporadic heart attack for over two decades now. I have attended to this man each time he visited on appointment. I was very close to him such that he would often suggested that I play a role in his desired project 'Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata ',an epic film work he was obsessed with .He told me a lot of stories about this project such that he sent me a short revised iconic story of the film. I shall forward this to you in my next email .In fact , he told me almost everything about his personal life as well as professional career.

However, about a week ago, Sir Guenter Pfitzman was rushed here on emergency. He had heart attack. He was rushed into the intensive care unit and was briefly examined. Shortly after he was revived, he told me he was in Britain for his 'Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata 'film production. He told me in confidence that he had paid in a draft for an amount totaling £11,000,000.00(Eleven Million British Pounds Sterling) for the production of the said epic film. He was emphatic and resolute thereby arousing my keen attention to his request and he said the money will be used to procure and import production machineries by the production crew headed by a certain American whose name I do not remember anymore. Sir Guenter Pfitzman told me that he paid in the draft to the clearing house in London and that the fund is due to clear in two days time .Then he was quiet and after some silence he demanded for my attention again ,this time, he wanted some privacy with me. I became panicky but
he was calm. He told me not to panic that he had a package for me for taking good care of him ,I was startled. He said I should contact the Offshore remittance officer of the clearing house with his draft in the event of his death, and that I should make reference to his film and that if I do just that the officer would release the fund to me as he had instructed him .Shortly after this, he suffered a prolonged heart attack and the medical crew including myself tried to revive him but his situation was that serious that he was placed on life support.

Meanwhile, I did not call the clearing house guy because it is against my professional ethics. Besides, I do not need all that money. I was at the same time disturbed because of Sir Guenter Pfitzman last wish. I tried to locate this production crew with little effort. I have been worried ever then and do not know what to do.However, I have contacted you to seek for your cooperation in retrieving this money. I shall provide you with the contact of the clearing house officer in London so that you could call him, and then discuss with him on modalities to claim the fund.

Please do let me know at your earliest if you could handle a transaction such as this by indicating your interest. You can call me on the telephone numbers above for further details and clarifications. I am willing to split the money equally when retried.

I await your response

Ms.Carol Williams
