"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings to you,
I am Dr Nana akufo . I headed the audit committee whose assignment was
To audit, review and recommend payment for all contracts awarded in
Tema
oil refinery, Ghana national petroleum corporation, Ghana Oil Company
limited. I discovered that the sum of $32,000,000 (thirty two million)
was floating unclaimed in the corporation account without beneficiary.
I
have used my position and deposited the fund to a security & finance
house waiting to be claimed.
This money emanated from an over-invoicing in the contract awarded to a
Foreign firm for the supply, erecting and computerized optimization of
The completion of Tema oil refinery residual fuel catalytic cracker
project in November 2002. Base on my status I cannot stand to claim
this
money myself, hence, I decided to contact you. On receipt of your
positive
response, we shall then discuss the sharing ratio and modalities. I
have
all necessary information and legal document needed to back you up .All
I
require from you is your honest cooperation to enable us sees this
transaction through.
