"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Professor Chukwuma Soludo PhD, The Senate Committee; The payment is based on the compensation our New President Alhaij Umar Yar'Adua promised the International Community, the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the inauguration day and also to your President as a way of sanitizing our Country and compensating those of you that have been a victims to some of the bad eggs in the Ministries. This compensation came up after those people involved in the act were relived of their job and this office was set up to ensure that everybody concern's get their Cashier Check

You should at come down to our office here in Abuja Nigeria with copy of your identification to pick up your check.
Alternatively the check can be sent to you via courier service, which you shall bear the cost. The Cashier Cheque is payable over your bank counter immediately the original copy is presented.
