"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your prompt response is highly imperative.

Good Day,
This communication is not the most secure way to pass a message of this value to you but i have no choice since it is the quickest option available. Please bear with me and keep this information to yourself.

My name is MAXI LALONG. I am an account officer to a deceased customer in our security company.(KIM Wen-Tzong )This customer and his family were lost in a bizarre circumstances some years back and his deposit in the tune of Millions of U.S Dollars with us has been dormant and unclaimed due to unavailability of a next of kin/relatives to claim his estate.

The security company where the fund is has treathened to confiscate the estate. It is as a result of this that I am moved to contact you considering the fact that we can make fortune out of this. In view of this, I am seeking your cooperation and understanding to stand as the deceased next of kin to enable us claim the inheritance before the time period given by the Bank elapse.

If you are interested and in agreement with me, please write back immediately and include your telephone and fax numbers for details. The deposit, which i am signitory to was consignment deposited as family treasury. The government does not know about this.I will let you know what to do next so that the fund will be delivered to you in your country by diplomatic courier.

Be rest assured that it is a risk free project and the proceedings will be shared 50-50 apiece when we are through.

I wait for your prompt response .
Regards,

Maxi Lalong.
