"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

FROM:JONATHAN KIROS
RUE 25 MACCORY
ABIDJAN-COTE D'IVOIRE.

Dear Friend,

Compliments of the day, this is not really to cause you any kind of embarrassment as we are completely strangers to each other,I got your contact from the International web site directory. I prayed over it and selected your name among other names due to it's esteeming nature and the recommendations given to me as a reputable and trust worthy person I am Johnson Kiros. from Sierra Leone. The only child of Engr.D.M Kiros, Ownner of Kiros's shipping company Now Sold to USA Investors ,i am writing you from Abidjan Coted'Ivoire where i have been taking refuge after the brutal murder of my parents by the rebels.

Because of the political crisses in my country my late Father sold his shipping company and took us to ABIDJAN-COTE D'IVOIRE (FORMALLY IVORY COAST in West Africa).where he deposited seventeen million five hundred thousand American Dollars (US$17,500,000) with a Security Company. He was killed on his way back with all our houses and properties destroyed and burnt down.

I need your help and due to the current political situation in our country i am seeking for your assistance to transfer this Money and also relocate to your country to further my studies and i am willing to offer you 20% of the total sum for your help. Please, for more discussion contact me on this e-mail address, As any delay in your reply may give me room in sourcing for another person for this same purpose.

Looking forward to hearing from you ASAP.

JONATHAN kIROS.
