"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

He was assassinated by the rebel during the political uprising in my country. Before his death he made a deposit of Four Million Two hundred thousand USA Dollars (US$4,200,000.00) in one of the security company in Abidjan. He informed me about the deposit and told me that incase in anything happens to him that I should use this money for my upkeep. Now, because of the political problem in my country, Ivory Coast , I want you to help me for the transfer of these funds to your account in your country or any safer place. I have plans to do investment in your country, like real estate and industrial production and to futher my education.

This is my reason for writing to you. Please if you are willing to assist me, do indicate your interest in replying soonest.
