Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

He informed me about the deposit and told me that incase in anything happens to him that I should use this money for my upkeep. Now, because of the political problem in my country, Ivory Coast , I want you to help me for the transfer of these funds to your account in your country or any safer place. I have plans to do investment in your country, like real estate and industrial production and to futher my education.
