"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Subject: Hello Dearest one

Hello Dearest one,
How are you? I am writing you this letter today with bitter tears in my eyes, as am writing you my heart sadness and my soul is dying at my tender age of 19. My name is Florence Kouadio. My late father was a very rich Cocoa Merchant here in Abidjan and he was a very popular man before he
died, I lost my mother when I was still a little girl and my father take care of me and never take another woman until he died, I lost him mysteriously early this year during one of his business trips abroad. His sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by my uncle who
traveled with him. when he was about to die in the hospital he called me and told me that he deposited the some of (US 10. 3 M) Ten Million Three Hundred Thousand United States dollars in a fixed /suspense account in one of the bank here in Abidjan.
He told me to try all my best to transfer the money abroad and go there and further my education for the safety of my life, please I need your urgent assistance to help me transfer this money into your account in your country so that i can come over and stay with your for the rest of my
life and safe my life from the hand of my wicked uncle the ongoing political crisis that is going on in my country, please I am not mandating you nor will I in any manner compel you to Honor against your will.
The most painful one is that my uncle who suppose to be my father alive turns to hunt for my life because of the deposit money I inherited from my father, I ran away from my father's house to a guest house, my uncle has claim every property my father left. Please the reason why I contact
you is because of the requirement of the bank that before they commence the transfer to any account of my choice, that they will like to hear from my oversea guardian. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded.

1 To provide a bank account where this money would be transferred.
2 To serve as the guardian to this money and negotiate for a profitable investment.
3 To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my
education and to secure a residential permit for me in your country.

I am willing to give you 15% of the total money after the money has been successfully transfer in to your account in your country for your assistance and another 5% for any expenses that occur during the process of transfer. I believe that with your urgent assistance one day i will become a
person in life and put all my painful experience behind me. I will be expecting a favorable reply from you. Thank you and God bless.

Regards

Florence
