"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,
I have been waiting for you since to come down here and
pick your Bank Draft of ($1.3Million) Which my boss asked me to mail to
you for your compensation as soon as you requeste for it, but I did not
hear from you since that time. Then I went and deposited the Draft with
Courier/Security Company here in Benin Republic to avoid loosing the
funds, And the Name of the Company is TNT COURIER COMPANY. I will be out
of the country for a 6 Months Course and I will not come back till later
in the year. Contact the Courier Company with the following
informations:
Your Full Name.....
Your delivery address...
Reachable
phone number...
Copy of your identity.......
Ask them to deliver your
package to your address. I have paid for the delivering charges and
insurance fee.The only money you have to send to them is their security
keeping fee which is $95.00 Us Dollars to received your package.
Below

Try to contact them as soon as possible to avoid increasing the
