"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

("REMITTANCE OF $8,MILLION U.S.A DOLLARS CONFIDENTIAL IS THE CASE")

Compliments Of The Day,

Forgive my indignation if this message comes to you as a surprise and may offend your personality for contacting you without your prior consent and writing through this channel..I got your contact from the proffesional data base found in the internet Yahoo tourist search. When i was searching for a foreign reliable partner.I assured of your capability and reliability to champion this businees opportunity. After series of prayers/fasting.i was divinely directed to contact you among other names found in the data base Yahoo tourist search.I believe that God has a way of helping who is in need.My Name is Mr kamason benard, Security manager of Saga Security Company here in Lome Togo, In my department, I discovered an abandoned consignment worth over sum of US$ 8Million dollars (Eight Million US dollars) in file that belongs to our foreign customer, (LATE MR. Andreas Schranner) from German who died along with his entire family in July 2000 in a plane crash.
I will appreciate you going through to read this web site information.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/859479.stm>>

Since then, I have made several enquiries to locate any of his extended
relatives but all effort has proved abortive.
The reason why I am contacting you is based on trust to enable me
present you as the next-of-kin to him, so this consignment will be released to
you for safety and subsequent disbursement.

Nobody has come to our company for claiming of the consignment.
It will be easy to convince the company since I am in position of the
necessary legalised documents that backs-up the consignment and which
will present you as the rightful next-of-kin to the deceased customer.
Idon't want this consignment to go into company's treasury as unclaimed bill because of our laws and guidelines stipulates that if such consignment remains unclaimed after Ten years, the company will confiscate it.

The request for a foreigner as next-of-kin in this transaction is
occasioned by the fact that late ANDREAS was a foreigner and any
indigene cannot stand as next-of-kin to a foreigner.

Upon receipt of your reply, I will send to you by fax or email the text
of the Application you will send to our Security Head office company to seek the release of the consignment to you.

We will negociate the sharing ratio later as it will not be a problem between both of us.

Regards
Mr kamason benard.
Security Manager ,
Saga Security Company.
Lome Togo.
