"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello My Dear

I am Mrs. Mariam J. Savimbi please I need your help since after the
incidence that lead to the death of my late husband Mr. Jonas Savimbi of
unity of Angola presntly undergoing political asylum in Abidjian. I know
we have not meet before but I am contacting you with due sense of
humanity responsibility and the few awareness that you will give it a
mutual understanding and acquaintance to help me. I am soliciting for an
assistance to move the sum $12.8 million USD to European countries for
investment.

The fund is presently in one of the European bank vault abroad for
safety since on the 12- 2- 2004. The real content was not declared to
the European bank vault due some family security reasons but was kept
as photographic equipment. I need you as partner to assist in claiming
the funds and provide good investment plans for it in your country. The
fund will be under your investment control for three years during which
only the profit will be shared annually 90% for me and 10% for you
annually.
