"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Contact TNT For Your Bank Draft of $450,000.00 USD <deliverydept@tntpostaldelivery-services.net>

Greetings!

I have been waiting for you to contact me for your Bank Draft of $450,000.00 US Dollars my boss left for you before he travelled to the Carribeans, but I have not heard from you since the time he travelled. However, I have gone to deposit the Bank Draft and some gift items he left for you with TNT Delivery Company. At the moment, I am not in office and have traveled out of the country on my long postponed leave, and will not come back until end of July.

What you have to do now is to contact TNT Delivery company as soon as possible to know when they will deliver your parcel to you. For your information, I have paid for the delivery charges, Insurance premium and Clearance Certificate Fee of the bank draft showing that it is a genuine money, and not drug money. The only money you will have to send to TNT Delivery company to deliver your Draft direct to your postal Address in your country is $240.00 USD (two hundred and forty dollars) only being Security Keeping Fee of the Delivery Company so far. Again, do not be deceived by anybody to pay any other money except $240.00 USD. I would have paid that but they said no because they do not know when you will contact them. At the moment, I am out of the office and on a leave in which they will not be able to contact me for the payment. You have to contact TNT Delivery service now for the delivery of your bank draft. Contact detail is given below:
Dispatch Director( Officer in Charge): Mr. Mark Dulle
E-mail: deliverydept@tntpostaldelivery-services.net
Telephone: +234 703 642 8899

Finally, make sure that you confirm your postal address() and direct telephone number with TNT to avoid any mistake on the delivery and ask them to give you the tracking number to enable you track your package over there and know when it will get to your address. Try to contact them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay and remember to pay them their security keeping fee of $240.00 USD for their immediate action.

Yours faithfully,
Mrs. Hagopian Yao James.
