"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Request for your assistance,

Request for your assistance,

I am Mrs Martha Hamid and my only son Samuel Hamid. My husband, Major Gen. Dramane Hamid was assassinated in Darfour on a military mission in Sudan . My husband had TEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS deposited with a commercial bank here in Abidjan . Presently I
am suffering Heart failure and following the recent diagnosis that was carried out last week, my doctor revealed my severe conditions with an advanced cancer.
I want you to do me a favour to receive this fund to a safe account in your country or any safer place as the beneficiary. I have plans to relocate my only son to overseas to continue his education and do investment in your country, like in real estate and industrial productions or any other
profitable sector in your economy. This is my reasons for contacting you.
Please if you are willing to assist me and my only son, indicate your interest by replying me to our private email

Thanks and God bless you.
Mrs. Martha Hamid.
