"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

It has been long I heard from you, what is going on?. I want to inform you
that I have taken your package box of ($1.500.000.00) One Million five
hundred thousand United State dollars to the United postal Services (UPS)
Benin Republic for them to send it to you.


I meet the manager of the United Postal Services and I spoke with him for
the final delivery of the package to your country address and he promised me
that they will delivery your package box to your door step but you have to
take care of the security costs of keeping it till when you are ready to
receive it. He further told me that as soon as they heard from you they will
delivery the package box to you with out any delay.


Now I want you to contact the United Postal Service for the release of the
package, I have submited the package box to them. The director's name is:
