"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,

I am Fred Asante 24 years Ghanaian born to a former diplomat called Ambassador

Adu Asante who died from a mild stroke in 1999.I have never known my mother but

according my late father he met my mother in Brazil when he was serving the

then

government as head of consular service at the Ghana mission in Sao Paulo and was

later given an appointment to serve as Substantial Head of Mission as the Ghana

High Commissioner to the UK in the 1980's.

My late father then came with my unknown mother to the UK,my Dad was later

transferred to Belgium holding the same position as an ambassador

in Brussels. But according my late father,my mom decided to visit her parents

back home in Brazil and never returned until the untimely death

of Dad and may His soul rest if perfect peace.

As a single child of my late father i had to come back home to Ghana to live

with my late dad family but since then life has been horrible and even a house

that

was bought by my father has been taken over by my father's family and any

attempt to take them to court could be a disaster or may loose my life.

I contacted my fathers lawyer and the documents available shows that my father

left pure AU Gold Dust of of 60 Kgs in a security company in Brussels and

upon

contacting the company regarding the Gold, they have also confirmed the

availability of the Gold at their possession in their Brussels office.

I am therefore seeking your assistance to claim the gold from the security in

order to pursue my education which is very important to me to enable me

raise my status and standard of education through your help.

I would not hesitate to give you the chance to manage the finance after getting

hold of the gold deposited at the security company when sold.

All effort to obtain Belgium Visa to travel there to claim the gold has not

yielded fruits.

I have available documents proven ownership of the Gold.

I pray you have mercy and consider my plight to enable me further my education

to achieve all my goals in life and 30% will be given to you after successful

claims.

I hope to urgently hear from you.

Fred.
