"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

and paid through a confirmable bank draft in your name due to the delay and
inconveniences we have noticed in your past efforts to get your money from
the bank. What you have to do now is to contact the FEDEX COURIER SERVICE as
soon as possible to know when they will deliver your package to you because
of the expiring date. For your information all government charges have been
deducted from your principle amount before the issuing the bank draft. The
only money you will need to pay is to the FEDEX COURIER SERVICE to deliver
your bank draft direct to your postal address in your country is ($195) been
security keeping fee of the courier company. Again don't be deceived by
anybody to pay any other money except $195.

contact them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay and
remember to pay them their Security Keeping Fee of $195.00 US Dollars for
their immediate action. You should also let me know through email as soon as
you receive your Draft.
