"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Thank you for your efforts

Hello my good friend,

Good day to you.

It has been such a long time. How are you today and your family.I hope all is
well?

I'm happy to inform you about my success in getting the fund transfered with
the cooperation of a new partner from Bahrain. Presently I'm in
al-Manâmah,Bahrain for for my health treatment and investment projects with
my own share of the total sum.My health is no longer what it used to be
because of the stress in getting this funds moved successfully.

Meanwhile,I didn't forget your past efforts and attempts to assist me in
transferring those funds despite that it did not work out between us.

In view of this,You should contact my lawyer in London, his name is
Barrister David Mark and his email address is d_markesq2010@yahoo.co.uk ask
him to send you the certified bank draft I handed over to him for the sum of
$350.000.00.You should keep $300.000.00 for yourself that is your
compensation for all your previous efforts and attempts to assist me in this
matter and $50.000.00 should go to any orphanage and motherless babes homes
in your country. That is one promise I made to my God and I stand on that,
nothing will change that.

I appreciated your efforts at that time very much,so feel free and get in
touch with my Lawyer and instruct him where to send the draft to you. Please
do let me know immediately you receive it so that we can share the joy after
all the sacrifice and sufferance at that time. At the moment, I am very busy
here because of my treatment and the investment projects with my new
partner.

Remember that I had forwarded instructions to the lawyer on your behalf to
receive that money, so feel free to get in to him and he will send the
amount to you without any delay.

Take care of yourself,

Your Friend.
