"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP

*Peace be unto you and your family
I am Anslem Gweh a citizen of Liberia,I am sending you this mail regarding
my late father's money (3million USD) which he deposited in a Metropolitan
and Allied bank in Ghana.

My sister and I will Like you to help us received this money as my late
Father's foreign beneficiary because the money was deposited in the bank
for safe keeping and onward transfer.

And in the time of deposit my late father sign a contact bond with the bank
not to release the funds to any of his family members without a foreign
beneficiary that is the reason why I and my sister needed your assistance so
that the bank can make the transfer of the funds to your country for
investment on behalf of me and my sister. My father was a Gold Merchant and
also a Politician who was shot dead in 2005 by rebels because of his
political ambition to become the next President of my country Liberia.

I and my sister are left alone to deal with this issue as our mother is
late and things have not been too good with us and it is time to rightfully
take what is ours but we want this done Legally with a Lawyer.

Nevertheless, my sister and I believe you will treat us like your own
children as we lost our parents when we never expected and when we needed
their assistance most in life, hence we need you to be our foreign
Beneficiary for successfully transfer of the money.

I want you to Get back to me so I will inform the lawyer that you have
agreed to help us .
I and my sister agreed to give you 25% of the total sum of the money with
the bank for your assistance and care regarding investment of the money.

The lawyer will make an agreement between you and us before the money is
transfered to you.I will send you my refugee identity card and the
documents that my late father used to deposit the money with the
bank.+233-248-326-285 is my mobile no. and my alternative email is
