"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings with peace of Almighty God

Beloved In Christ,
Greetings with peace of Almighty God to you, I am Mrs. Doris Shiva from
South Africa, a devoted christian woman, I' m married to late Eng. Nelson
Shiva an oil well drilling and maintainace contractor who worked with
several oil companies in Ivory Coast for Twenty-Six years before he died in
the year 2003, after a brief illness that lasted for only five days. We were
married for Eighteen years with a doughter (Evangeline) who later died in a
motor accident.
My hobbies are going to church, reading the Bible, praying, playing gospel
songs, preaching the word of God to unbelievers, sharing the word of God and
helping the less privilaged ones.

Sad to say that recently, I have been diagnosed with Esophageal
and heart/breast cancer that has defiled all forms of medical treatment from
different medical experts and the one that disturbs me most is that recently
my Doctor told me that I will not live longer due to my heart cancer
problem . Having known my condition that I will soon depart from this earth
I decided to will/donate this fund I inheritted from My late husband to
you for you to utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein.
When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of US$2.5M (Two Million
and Five hundred Thousand United States Dollar) with a prime bank in the
Ivory Coast were we have lived for the past years, presently this money is
still with the bank. I want you to use this fund in humaniterian Activities
like, Building Orphanages, schools, hospitals, motherless homes, helping
widows, less privilaged Aged parents and HIV victims accross the globe.

The Bible made me to understand that "Blessed is the hand that giveth". I
took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this
money and my husband relatives are not God fearing type and I don't want my
husband's efforts to be used in an ungodly way. This is why I am taking this
decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. By my
faith I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14
says that "the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace". I don't
need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health and the
presence of my husband's relatives around me always I don't want them to
know about this arrangement, hence I have right here in hopital bed with me
my satelite lap top with internet connection that I can alway reach you
through email. With God all things are possible. Please reply and assure me
that you will act accordingly as I stated herein as soon as you receive this
mail any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing another person
for this same purpose as time indeed is of the essence considering to my
ailing health .
Hoping to receive your reply.
Remain blessed in the Lord.
Yours in Christ,
Mrs Doris Shiva
