"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I come to you in peace and goodnews that will turn your life around.We have an unspent amount valued at USD$32Million from our last year budget.This funds have been proposed for a project in our accounting books.This project is not feasible in the next five years as Militancy activities has made the government to suspend any furhter development in that region.

All i need you to do is to present yourself as one of our contractor who has done feasibility studies and engineering design on the proposed project.This will enable the accounting department to prepare a payment voucher for the full amount to your company which you will be required to register with the Corporate affairs commission(CAC) and our procurement Department.

All risk involved with this transaction has been taken care of by this parastatal.As soon as you show your genuine intention, we shall discuss the payment modalities with you.
