"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GOOD DAY

Dear Sir/Madam,

I know this message will come to you as a surprise as you do not know me before but as a matter of fact, after I went through your profile while I was searching for a God fearing person that I can entrust our life's, because our mother warned us not to let any of our relation or old family friends know anything about us because our father was betrayed by the so called people he trusted, so that is why we believe in dealing with an individual like you whom we do not know before, who can just understand our status and most importantly to keep this highly confidential as I have explained. I am enclosing a web page, which announced the incident, which led to the death of my late father.

Please get back to me, because my intentions now is to fly over there in your country with my younger sister, to settle and live for the rest of our life's in peace over there, and to be honest with you, I am deeply in love with your personality in your profile and am seeking to know you more, because I need someone like you to trust as at this stage of life, upon your response, I would reveal to you more about my family and also the deposit of $

6.100.000.00 my late father made with one of the banks here in Ghana , the money is what I needed to invest over there in your country which will be under your supervision till I finish my education, due to the fact that there is economic and political stability over there, and that is why I need someone like you, who would be helpful to me as a friend/family, as I am only 24 years of age and would like to further my education when I get over there since that is the only thing that will determine my future.

Moreover, upon your response, try and send me your private phone and fax number for our easy communication, I will also fax you my identity along with my sister's own and also the documents which related to the deposit by my late father, for your reference about me and my sister. My Email address is julimagi26@yahoo.co.uk

I will be waiting urgently to hear from you.

Thanks and warm regards
