Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I would like to appeal to you confidentialy to assist me concerning my late father's bank deposit here in Abidjan of $5,000,000 (five million dollars) I want to move out of here because the crisis that started here of over three year's now is still on and there is no sign that it will be well
