"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Subject: I WILL BE GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU

Dear Beloved One

Calvary Greetings in the name of our God, I am Mrs Lilian Dennis, a widow
to Late Ernest Dennis. I am 69years old, I am suffering from a re-occurring
kidney problems, resulting to my under going surgical operation.

I personally searched for these information concerning you because i want my
daughter and I to have a very far and distant area to stay considering the
many fingers that are willing to clap us to death because of my late
husbands investments here.

From all indications, my condition is really deteriorating and is quite
obvious that I may not live much longer as said by the Doctor. It has taken
a new twist & has gotten to a stage which is very severe with complications.
My late husband and our only Son were died a natural death without any
reason attached to their death.

My late husband and I built a very successful business. Before his death, we
had a dream of reaching out to poor and less privilege in the society.
However, as fate would have its way he died even before realizing this
dreams. I desire that this goal be achieved as a mark of love & respect for
my husband on one hand and on the other hand a show of love and compassion
for humanity.

When my late husband was alive he deposited a huge amount of money in a
General Trust Account with a financial company in Abidjan , Cote d'Ivoire .
Presently, this money is still with the financial company. I want to you to
assist me to receive and reinvest this money in a good business and some
part to the less privilege and to you also. You will help me to secure a
home where we shall live together as one family. As soon as the transfer is
over I and my daughter will come over to your country as I am planning to
undergo surgery there where there are better medical facilities.

Please get back to me immediately for more clarifications and information's
on the transfer of this fund. And I still want to remind you that if my
response does not come fast, it is due to the fragile nature of my
health.

Best regards,

MRS LILIAN DENNIS
