Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I am Mrs.Victoire Reza, the wife of Mr.Daniel Reza, I am a French citizen. My husband worked with the Chevron/Texaco in Cote d'Ivoire before he died in the year 2003. My husband deposited the sum of (2.5 Million Pounds) with a bank.The bank management just wrote me as the beneficiary, that our account has been dormant and if I can not re-activate the account,the funds will be confiscated. I am presently hospitalized, taking treatment for cancer for several months now. According to my medical test result recently, the doctors has confirmed that I can not be able to live for more than 2 months because the cancer has gone to an acute stage.

Following this development and for the fact that my health condition is getting worse everyday, please, it is my pleasure to choose you to stand as the beneficiary of this fund and use the money for humantarian services to the orphans,widows,the less privileged and to support projects meant to advance the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ because I have no child.It will not be Godly to allow the bank to confiscate this money, while there are helpless children out there that needs to be helped.
