"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

- Dear beloved in Christ,I am Julie Helen Duffy from Australia. I am married to late James Duffy of blessed memory; we who worked with Australian embassy for twelve years before he died in the year 2001. We were married for eleven years without a child; he died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days.Since his death I have battled with both cancer and fibroid problem and recently my doctor told me that I had just a few months to live because of my deteriorating health. Because of my condition I have Decided to donate my late husband's funds of (US$5.5Million) deposited with a security company in Europe to a God Fearing person that will utilize this money as I will instruct to fund churches, orphanages, widows and also propagate the word of God. You will be entitled to 20% of the entire funds for your own personal expenses.Because I don’t have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not God fearing, for they are into idolatry worship and I don’t want a situation where this money will be used in an unholy manner. Hence the reasons for taking this bold decision. I don’t need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health, and also because of the presence of my husband’s relatives around always. I don’t want them to know about this development. As soon as I receive your reply, I will provide you with more information concerning this project the lord has placed in my heart. Any delay in your reply will give room in sourcing for another person / organization for this same purpose.Until I hear from you today unfailingly, my dream will rest squarely on your shoulders.May the Good lord continue to guide and protect us.You can write me at my email: (Mrsjulieduffy2008@gmail.com) Peace of the lord be with you.Julie H.Duffy
