"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Glory to God in heaven.

Dear Beloved,Glory to God in heaven. My name is Mrs. Anne Marie Joubert from SouthAfrica. I am married to Mr. Abraham Benjamin Joubert, who was a farmerhere in South Africa for many years before he died in 2004. We weremarried for eleven years without a child. He died after a briefillness that lasted for only four days.Since his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside mymatrimonial home, When my late husband was alive he deposited a totalsum of $9.6 Million ( Nine Million, Six Hundred Thousand U.S.Dollars)with a bank in UK.Presently, this money is still under the safe keeping of the Bank inUK and recent diagnosis on me shows that I would not last for thenext seven months due to my cancer problems. Though what disturbs memost is my stroke .Having known my condition, I decided to donate thisfund to Mosque or church or better still a Moslem or Christianindividual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instructhere in. I want a Mosque or church or God fearing individual that willuse this fund on; orphanages and widows propagating the word of Godand give help to mankind. The good God made us to understand thatblessed is the hand that giveth.I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inheritthis money and my husband relatives are not good people and I don'twant my husband's hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers. Idon't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodlymanner. Hence the reason for taking this bold decision.I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that Iam going to be in the bosom of the God. I don't need any telephonecommunication in this regard because of my health because of thepresence of my husband's relatives around me always. I don't want themto know about this development. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Good woman. Whoeverthat wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and truth. Please always be prayerful all through your life. Any delay incontacting me will give me room in sourcing for a mosque or church orMoslem or Christian individual for this same purpose. Please assure methat you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping to hear fromyou as soon as possible, so that I can forward to you the contact ofthe bank. Please use 45% of the money for charity and collect 50% for allexpenses which you made in the process of transferring the money toyour bank account. 3% goes to the development of the mosques orchurches and 2 % goes to schools in your locality. Please if you know that you are interested in my wish and proposal, contact me on my private email immediately:maria.joubet@gmail.comAttached are copies of international passports of me and my late husband.
