"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dearest Beloved

*Dearest Beloved,*

*I am Miss Roselina Aka from Bourke Cote D'Ivoire. I am 24 years old, the
only surviving child of my late parents Mr and Mrs Richard Aka.My late
father was a government building contractor and also into real estate
management before his untimely death. I want to ask for your help. I lost my
mother at the age of 10 and my father was poisoned to death during his visit
to our home town for a family meeting on February 16th 2008. Before the
death of my late father in the hospital he told me that he deposited the sum
of $2.8 Million Dollars in a private security company here in Cote d'Ivoire.
*

*My late father told me in his dieing bed that I should stay away from my
wicked uncle, that it was because of his success in business and his wealth
that his wicked brother planned and poisoned him to death in order to have
al his properties, to prove it all, six months after my Father's death my
wicked uncle sold most of my late father's properties including our family
house in Bourke city. Due to the reason behind my parent's death and the
advice my late father gave me before his death I don't want to stay here
again. I am pleading for your kind assistance to help me transfer this money
to your country so that I will join you to continue my education which is
very important to me you can as well help me in investing the money in a
good and moving business in your country. Please it is the fear of betrayal
from anyone around me here that confirms my decision to contact a
neutral person like you. I am ready to offer you 25% of the total money for
your kind assistance.*

*If you are ready and sincerely willing to assist me write to me through my
private email id (**missroselina@hotmail.com**) and any delay in replying to
me will give me room in sourcing for another good person. I will give you
more details, upon your immediate response. I am left alone now; the deaths
of my parents have made me an orphan, please find a place in your kind heart
to help me I promise never to disappoint you.*

*Yours Sincerely Girl,*

*Miss Roselina Aka.*
