"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

- Dear Friend, My Name is Elizabeth Galley, it is my pleasure write you, since I cannot be able to see you face to face at first. Being the eldest son of my father, late Dr. Frank Galley from Ghana (WA) I am 19 years of age. My father was a Gold merchant in Koforidua before his untimely death. After his business trip to Accra to negotiate on a good investment business he wanted to invest in. A week after he came back from Accra, he was involve in a ghastly motor accident along side my mother on the 20th day of February 2007 of which my mother died instantly but my father died after five days in a private hospital on that faithful afternoon, I didn't know that my father was going to leave me after I had lost my mother, but before my father gave up the ghost he disclosed to me that he deposited the sum of 7,000,000 Euro (Seven Million Euro) inside an electric safe consignment box under the care of a private finance and security company in Kumasi-Republic Of Ghana for onward delivery to his foreign business partner. He said that the money was meant for his Gold Company he wanted to establish in HOLLAND but he didn't finish explaining to me before he gave up the ghost. After the funeral ceremony of my parents ,my wicked uncle in turn have confiscated my father property in the name of one stupid African tradition, So now i have been able to locate the finance and security company where the safe consignment box is deposited in Kumasi-Ghana but i was told by the company director that the box can not be release to me because of the deposit nature and also because i am too young to handle this here all alone and i do not not my wicked uncle to know about this money that is why i am now soliciting for your assistance to act as my foreign beneficiary who the money inside the safe consignment box will be deliver to and after receiving it , you will help me and my kid siblings to invest this money into any lucrative business venture in your country that will yield us a better profit and for your assistant to help me and my kid siblings we will offer you with 30% of the total money inside the consignment box , 1% set aside for any cost of transporting the consignmenbox to your final destination in your country and the remaining 69% will be for me and my kid siblings which you will invest for us in your country while we go back to school to continue our educational career . I also want you to know that all necessary documents covering the legality and deposit of the safe consignment box in the finance and security company are here with me which I can send to you for your view upon your request for it. Waiting anxiously to hear from you so that we can proceed to the company for the claim of the safe consignment box. YOU CAN CONTACT ME WITH THESE EMAIL ADDRESS elizabeth_love33@live.com yours sincerely Elizabeth Galley.
