"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

- Dearest in Christ, Greetings in the name of the most precious name of the most High God. I know this will come to you as a surprise, but I carve your indulgent to read this. I am Mrs. Marie Jones, a widow from South Africa Married to late Gary F. Jones. I am 62 years old, I am a new Christian convert suffering from long time cancer of the breast and from all indications, my conditions is really deteriorating and it is quite obvious that I won't live more than six months, according to my doctors, this is because the cancer stage has gotten to a very bad stage. My late husband was killed during the U.S raid against terrorism in Afghanistan, and during the period of our marriage we could not produce any child of our own. My late husband was very wealthy and after his death, I inherited all his business and wealth. The doctors has advised me that I may not live for more than six months, so I now decided to divide the part of this wealth, to contribute to the development of churches in the world. After praying to our father in heaven and I selected you, after visiting the web-site and I prayed over it. I am willing to donate the sum of $6.700.000.00 us dollars, to the less privileged and to the developement of churches all around the world. Please I want you to note that this fund is lying in a bank in Europe. I am offering you 30% of the total funds for your assistant while 70% will be used in all sincerity to fund philanthropic organization and orphanages around the world. I am taking this decision because I don't have any child or devoted relations whose behavior has left much to be desired while I am ill and above all I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner, hence this bold decision. Please note that as soon as I receive a response from you showing that you are willing and faithful to work for God, I will forward to you the contact details of my attorney who will legaly carry you along and he will file in an application on your behalf in the court of law for the change of all legal documentation in your name as the new beneficiary of the total funds. I honestly pray that this money when transferred to you will be used for the said purpose, because I have come to find out that wealth acquisition without Christ is vanity. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy spirit be with you and your family. NB: All correspondent should be strictly by email due to the condition of my health, I will not be able to attend to calls because my health does not permit me to do so but if you want to speak to my attorney, that is fine and okay by me because he and his chambers will be representing my good interest with you to bring this God's project to pass in good faith. GOD BLESS YOU. I await your urgent and faithful reply. Yours in Christ. Mrs. Marie Jones
