"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From Rose

Good Day,

I BRING YOU NEW YEAR GREETINGS IN ADVANCE,

I am Miss Rose Aka from Bourke City, Cote D'Ivoire. the only surviving child
of my late parents Mr and Mrs Richard Aka .My late father was a government
building contractor and also into real estate management before his untimely
death. I want to ask for your help. I lost my mother at the age of 10 and my
father was poisoned to death during his visit to our home town for a family
meeting on 12 February 2008. Before the death of my late father in a private
hospital he told me that he deposited the sum of $ 4Million Dollars in a
private security company here in Cote d'Ivoire.

My late father told me in his dieing bed that I should stay away from my
wicked uncle, that it was because of his success in business and his wealth
that his wicked brother planned and poisoned him to death in order to have
al his properties, to prove it all, six months after my Father's death my
wicked uncle sold most of my late father's properties including our family
house. Due to the reason behind my parent's death and the advice my late
father gave me before his death I don't want to stay here again. I
am pleading for your kind assistance to help me transfer this money to your
country so that I will join you immediately to continue my education which
is very important to me, and you can as well help in investing the money in
a good and moving business there while I continue my education as for your
kind assistance am willing to offer 30% of the total money .Please it is the
fear of betrayal from anyone around me here that confirms my decision to
contact a neutral person like you. Email me through my private email id (*
missroselina_0@hotmail.com*) I will give you more details upon your
immediate response. I am left alone now; the deaths of my parents have made
me an orphan, please find a place in your kind heart to help me I promise
never to disappoint you.

Yours Sincerely Girl,

Miss Rose Aka.
