"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My late father died in auto crash in December 2005.My late father was kill in a suspected road accident but the police reported that my late father was drunk and full of alcohol before his death. However, my late father was a successful Gold and Diamond business man who lived in Asia before coming back to my country, Sierra Leone . Before the death of my father, he told me that he deposited the sum of £15.500, 000:00{Fifteen Million, five hundred thousand British pounds only} with Diamond Commercial Bank in Ghana in the year 2003.I have contacted the Bank in Ghana and they told me that I am free to come and claim the money as the only Daughter of my late father. Now, I am presently living with my uncle and my uncle is very wicked to me. He has seized all my late father’s properties and sold them away without showing any consign to me just because am a girl, here in my country if a man don’t have a son the family will not value the female child and my mother is dead I am all alone in these world with my God. Now, I don’t want my uncle to know about the £15.500, 000:00 pounds with the Diamond Commercial Bank that is why I am contacting you to give me and urgent assist so that I can instruct the Diamond Commercial Bank to transfer the money to your account to enable me come to meet you in your country. I am just 23 years old and a university undergraduate which I stopped furthering my studies because of my uncles wickedness, really I don't know what to do now, I want a real able and a trustworthy person overseas who will assist me financially and morally to get this fund from the bank because it is the only hope of my future surviving, this is because I have suffered a lot of set backs in my studies as a result the humiliations and sufferings that I often received from my uncles, honestly the death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life up to this date.
