"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: For the sake of less privileged

I am Mrs Zainab Abdulaziz from Kuwait, married to late Mr Mohammed Abdulaziz, who worked with the Kuwait Embassy in Ivory Coast for Twenty-Six years before he died in the year 2003, after a brief illness.

We were married for Eighteen years with a daughter (Hannah) she died in a motor accident. Before the untimely death of my husband, we both devoted our resources in helping the less privileged in the society both Christians and Muslims alike. After his death I decided not to remarry or get a
child outside my matrimonial home.

Recently, following my ill health, my Doctor told me that I may not last for the next eight months due to my poor state of health; Right now I am suffering from cancer and stroke which has proven to be curable. Having known my condition I decided to donate the sum of (US$2.5M)(Two Million, Five
hundred Thousand United States Dollar) which I have in a General Trust Account with a prime bank in Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) for the benefit of a any Christians or Muslim organization, orphanage homes or any humanitarian Aid. Since it is obvious that I have some months to live, and do not have
any child of my own, I want this money to be utilized in the above mentioned for the sake of humanity.

So I want you to help me carry out the above instructions since I am not capable to, due to my ill health. If you are interested send me your full name and home address, mobile and fax number, age and occupation, and your identity card. All these I will send to the bank to make you my new
beneficiary. I shall give you the contact of the bank after I have presented you as the new beneficiary of this fund. Note; you must assure me that you will act according to what I have told you. Hope to receive your response.

Best regards
Mrs Zainab Abdulaziz.
