"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Good day,

Good day, I got your email address from search few weeks ago when I was looking for a sincere person abroad. After many deliberations my instinct led me to contact you for assistance in investment and management.

My Father Jenkins Dunbar (of the blessed memory) was a front line member of movement for democratic change (MDC) in Zimbabwe. He was tortured and burned alive in his car, Near Buhera, Western Zimbabwe by President Robert Mugabe agents during the last run up parliamentary election. Before my father's death, he stored two cases containing $17,000,000.00 USD cash in a safe place not in the bank to avoid government knowledge for his supposed campaign and political ambition.

I want you to receive these boxes from the storage location and put it into capital investment for my family since Zimbabwe is no longer safe for us.

Your benefits will be 25% commission percentage accruing from profits on investment. I expect your timely response, so that I can start movement plans.

I look forward to your reply with full names, address and private phone numbers for effective communications.

Please, even if you do not want to receive the money for management and proper safe keeping, keep this story secret for my family enemies are still-hunting for us in Zimbabwe. God bless you.

Regards,
Jenkins Dunbar Jr.
