"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Bouake - Ivory coast.

Dearest one,
I am Elizabeth Bamak. I am the daughter of Madame Monica Bamak. I was
adopted by Madame Monica when I was a baby. My adoptive mother is a
certified broker in West Africa Mercantile Exchange Market. It is sad to say
that she died few years ago of cancer.

Before her death on march 2006, she told me that she had deposited the sum
of seven million Five Hundred Thousand U.S. dollars ($ 7.500,000.00) in a
Bank here in Bouake And that she used my name as beneficiary of this
deposit. She explained that she entered agreement with the bank that the
funds should be transferred to the account of anyone I should pick as my
foreign partner or guardian. But if I do not have such a foreign contact,
that the funds should be released to me at my age of 30 years.

She told me that if I can get a foreign guardian it would be better that I
travel out of the country to complete my studies. Now i need this money to
be able to continue my education and investements in overseas, because my
education will stop if i did not claim this money from the bank. I need
your help to stand as my foreign partner to enable the bank to transfer
these funds into your bank account. I wait for your quick reply.

Thanks, God bless you.
Elizabeth Bamak.
