"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

An unclaimed shipment from iship forwarder was brought to our facility two days ago, when scanned today; it revealed an undisclosed sum of money in a Metal Trunk Box weighing approximately 150kg. The consignment and some Master Cards were abandoned because, the Content was not properly declared by the consignee as money rather, personal effect to avoid diversion by the iship delivery Agent.

The details tagged on the consignment Metal Trunk box, shows that it belongs to Mr. Andrew Mullins, who was feared dead on board an airline crash. Immediate you reply the Declaration form will be sent to you, to fill and return back so that we in the customs-releasing department will legally make you the next-of-kin to the consignee and release the shipment to your address as the inheritor of this consignment but you must agree to our terms of compensation when you finally receives the box.
