"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Mr. WANG NING, a staff at the Bank Of China. I have a deceased Client Mr Rafic Hariri, A Former Lebanese Prime Minister
Whose picture is displayed below from his Website. www.rhariri.com

Former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri was assassinated in an explosion that targeted his motorcade on a Beirut waterfront road, killing the late Lebanese leader , seven of his bodyguards and bystanders. Dozens were also injured. Mr. Hariri had just left Parliament when the attack took place...
Lebanon and the whole world paid farewell to Martyr PM Rafic Hariri and his seven companions in a huge popular and historic funeral procession that went through the streets of Beirut heading toward Mohammed Al Amin Mosque in Beirut's Central District, where they were laid to rest.
The late Lebanese leader's family issued a statement describing the attack as a criminal act and declared Mr. Hariri a martyr for the entire nation.

I have made several enquiries to the embassy here to locate any of Former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri's extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful. After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his last name over the Internet, to locate any of his fellow Lebanese Citizens or Diplomats or any Connected Citizen even a non Lebanese that can help secure my Client's fund.

However, I contacted you to assist in repartrating the fund valued at $9.5 Million (Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars), left behind by my client before it gets confisicated or declared unserviceable at the Bank Of China where this amount was deposited as a Fixed Deposit Account.
The Bank Of China has issued me a notice to provide the Next of kin to Late Mr Hariri or have his account confisicated within the next twenty one official working days.

Since I have been unsuccesfull in locating the relatives for years now, I seek the consent to present you as the next of kin to My deceased Client so that the proceeds of this account can be paid to you for us to share at an agreed percentage.
Therefore, on receipt of your positive response via our email wanglee_lee@yahoo.cn
we shall then discuss the share ratio and modalities for transfer.

I have all necessary information needed to back you up for claim. All I require from you is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction through.
I guarantee that this will be executed under legitimate Banking arrangement to protect you from any breach of the law.

BEST REGARDS...

Mr. WANG NING
Department Of Fixed & Deposit Accounts.
