"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. He (Mr.Arthur Corkley) deposited a personal fund with a bank here in nigeria which was the proceed of his services within the West African Oil sector.I am the principal manager of his affairs,legal and transactional.As I write you,the only heir to his will,is Mrs.Patricia Corkley,his wife,who died of breast cancer and its complications last August,leaving the repatriation of the fund from this Bank to her unfinished.I have been persistently persuaded by the Bank to introduce someone to complete this inheritance claim process.

I have discussed with a director of the Bank on how best to claim this fund,when it was suggested that since the Corkley's family has no surviving issue, that I should present any foreigner of any nationality,whom i will trust to stand as the partner to the deceased in Corley Pipeline Maintenance and Servicing Company.

This partner will be guided by me and the insider at the bank to have the total fund deposit of US$10,500,000.00 claimed and repatriated to the account of the partner any where in the world.

I have all documents of transactions of late Mr.Arthur Corkley and have the power to swear an affidavit legally re-instating you as partner to the aforementioned company.With the assistance of the insider at the Bank,we shall obtain all necessary paperwork to ensure the transfer of this fund to you is done with full legitimacy.There will be no risk linked to this transaction.
