"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Very Important Plz

Dear friend,

We do not know each other, but I am sending this email with hope to get a positive and sincere
response, in order to go into a deal that would bring life fortune to both of us and this has to do with the sum of
($14.5million) originating from my deceased associate business man who was also widowed.

Upon successful release of the funds into your designated account, our sharing mode shall be 60% for me and 40% for you and this will be listed in our expected MOU. It is also important to inform you that we will handle the legal frame work to ensure that we follow due process for smooth transaction to thrive.Filing your details as beneficiary of the funds is the fundamental request and if you are able and interested, let me know by sending your details so we can resume the procedure.
Please Note confidentiality of our communication and information is highly important.

Greetings,
