"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I still await your response

Hi,
I had sent you
a mail but did not receive your response, so I’d like to drop a quick one again
in case you did not receive that mail introducing my Intent. As fund manager, I
manage our numerous investors funds here at a fund investment company in the Uk,
including that of the late self made billionaire, Mr Rong Yiren.   http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4381552.stm

Meanwhile, I decided to contact
you via this medium after a desperate personal search, since Late Rong
Yiren before his death deposited a currently dormant $32.5million USD here in Uk
which I'll now like to move again, having previously moved it to a bond account
in shanghai, China when Prime Minister Gordon Brown clearly stated that all
unclaimed funds held in dormant accounts be used to fund youth and community
projects.    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4017381.stm

I am in a sincere desire of
your humble assistance and will be willing to offer you 40% of the total fund.
if you can assist me. So please get back to me immediately if the
offer/percentage is acceptable by you.
